There are no words about Jackson Hole... if you want to make a trip out west, I HIGHLY recommend Jackson Hole, Wyoming. When you land in the airport (closed for spring 2022 for renovations, but you can fly into nearby airports) the mountains are literally right there! Just breathtaking. Now, about the lodge haha. Where we stayed is called The Lodge at Jackson Hole.
My overall The Lodge at Jackson Hole review is that it was truly amazing! We will defintely be staying again. The location was awesome and it encompassed the whole western feeling.The lodge is filled with photos of history of Jackson Hole, of course has a rustic feel, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and all the ammenties you could ask for. Everything it includes is:
-Spa
-Free Breakfast (so good)
-Fitness Center
-Pool/HotTub
-Sauna
-Bar
-and more!

Where to Eat/Drink
1.The Bird - This restaurant is located outside of the main town of Jackson Hole and is where the locals like to go! It is a simple, but cool atmosphere. Grab you a burger and a beer here and you will be glad you did!
2. Merry Piglets - Craving some tex-mex while visiting Jackson Hole? Well this is your spot! Located right in Jackson Square.
3. Cowboy Coffee - SO good. We went twice. There are two locations in Jackson, one being right in Jackson Square.
4. Jackson Hole Winery- Need I say more?
5. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar - There is no way you can visit here and not go to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar! Saddles for seats at the bar? Good drinks and live music? It's a must for night entertainment and fun!
6. The Gun Barrel - This restaurant was located right near our hotel so we thought we would stop in and this was our favorite meal of the whole trip! Jordan and I got the exact same thing - the Salmon. We got it blackened and it was literally the best salmon we have had in a long time.
6. The Local - Located right next to The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. So this night was our "nice night" and we got the steak, see below. ( I know I know, we eat the same thing a lot haha). It was good, but I just wish it had more flavor. The veggies were BOMB, so good. I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, but I think I should have ordered something else. I will definitely try something else next time! Every other experience was great: service, atmosphere, etc: loved it! (Tip: Make a reservation in advance online. They do require a credit card to do so.)
Activities and What to do in Jackson Hole
The Grand Tetons - They are literally right there! Go driving around and see if you can find all of the wildlife, visit historic places and go on a hike! ( I will have a more specific blog post of this soon )
Yellowstone - Less than an hour away! Go explore Yellowstone.
Jackson Hole Square is just a cute little area and has SO many cute shops. You definitely need to check it out.

Weather permitting: You can rent a boat, go white water rafting, skiing... there are so many different activities you can participate in!
